Overlooking Lorne's Erskine River, this restaurant holds no secrets behind its name; Pizza Pizza is the place to go for, you guessed it, pizza. After working in various restaurants and pizzerias around Melbourne, Brett Grahame set up shop in this old colonial gem. With several venues around closing their doors, there was plenty of material to salvage for Pizza Pizza. The result is a charming mish-mash of recycled furniture and materials. With the river on one side and an antique shop on the other, this eclectic eatery fits right into its surrounds. From the long list of pizzas on offer, Grahame heartily recommends the prosciutto pizza with fresh rocket; and the 'Napoli spinner' - a real winner with roast pumpkin, pine nuts, goat's cheese and mozzarella. The restaurant serves great coffee too - but Coffee Coffee doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
