super pizza!
awesome gourmet pizza's, not overloaded with toppings (3-5), thin bases (just how I like it), service was attentive, we ordered 5 large's (for 6 people) and they all came out together and quite quickly! washed down with a few bottles of red and a great night had by all...we'll be back!!

such a shame!
We were really looking forward to our i carusi dinner, however were let down by how rude and uninterested the staff were. The service was so unfriendly and unhelpful!! One of the worst experiences i have had in melbourne! From the moment we sat down, it actually felt like they couln't get us out of the restaurant quick enough. My friend was literlly putting his last piece of pizza in his mouth as the waiter whisked away his plate ....
on a positive note... the pizza was very delicious. Especially the broccoli and parmegano one!!!

paper thin pizza
We went to have a pizza which was suggested to be the best in Melbourne, but what a let down. It was too expensive eg $23 paper thin and not enough topping. The place was not lit up outside or in and the waiter was disinterested in serving us and didn't even know what was on the menu and the light was so poor we had to use our mobile phone to light up the menu to read it. We will not be returning or recommend it to anyone.

delicious pizza as it should be done..
my friend and i shared the one with leek and gorgonzola.......... and the one with roquette and tomato and prosciutto... what a great combination to share!! and the atmosphere and service was warm and i did not notice any fault really at all : ) it was a lovely meal..... i am sad to see below some not so happy reviews as i was definitely satisfied by my experience..

Agree with last review
Excellent pizza (especially the dessert pizzas) however wait staff could have been a bit more welcoming! We arrived a few minutes before they opened for dinner but were told to wait outside even though their door was open. It then took close to an hour for our order to arrive while the take-away orders seemed to be filled first.
Perhaps it would have been better to have made a booking? Anyway food was delicious as always so I will be going back - and hoping for better service!

Good food, very disappointing service
I had heard a lot about I Carusi, and was very excited to try it for myself. The restaurant was quite busy, and noisy. I was pleased with the great menu as there are a large variety of pizzas. We sampled a few different pizzas and were impressed with the food, however the service was terrible. We waited an hour and a half for our pizzas, and did not recieve an apology. The wait staff were rude and slow. Overall the food was good, but not good enough to make up for the terrible service. I will not be going back.
