With its funky decor and sharable tapas-style treats, this bar is fast becoming just as popular as its Walsh Bay cousin.
Offering up dishes such as salt cod croquettes, prosciutto-wrapped haloumi and half-shell scallops with mango and coriander relish, the biggest drama at Firefly is deciding what to order. And if dining with at least three others, that problem can be fixed with the shared banquet: a table full of all the menu favourites, even the much-loved zucchini frites.
The wine list doesn't disappoint either with an extensive yet well-selected range of local and international labels. There's even a section titled "Mysterious and Exotic Reds". It's hard to resist a drop from that list as an accompaniment to the slow-cooked barbecue beef short rib.
