A little Middle Eastern, vaguely Asian and ultimately unique, Afghan Village provides a dining adventure for anyone who's after a new cuisine challenge. Intricately patterned rugs and Afghan artefacts line the walls and add the requisite air of exoticism, while the menu finishes the job with an array of unfamiliar delicacies.

Wonderful again!
I have recommended Afghan Village to many, many people and have dined there for several special occasions and a few Saturday night meals. The food is always exquisite and the waiter (the same one every time!) is always lovely and friendly. The banquet offers good value if you'd like to try 'a bit of everything' and the menu choices are always wonderful. For anyone who hasn't had Afghan food, it's a little like Middle Eastern food fused with Indian, but lighter. I absolutely love the Aloo Gobi (excuse the spelling), and my husband loves the chicken dishes. Highly recommended.
